Police department issues route plan to ensure smooth traffic flow 

Different routes and parking arrangements for participants, viewers, public representatives, officials and emergency vehicles

Issues route plan for smooth movement of visitor’s vehicles and parking reaching from different districts of the state

Raipur, 30 October 2022

National Tribal Dance Festival and Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava to be held from November 1 to 3, 2022 at Science College ground in Raipur. During this, participants hailing from different countries and from different states of India are going to participate and perform in the festival. Viewers/Visitors from different districts of the state will be reaching to witness this festival. To manage and ensure smooth traffic movement, the police department has issued the route plan and parking arrangement plan. as follows –

Route and parking arrangements for people coming from Mahasamund, Baloda Bazar, Gariyaband and Dhamtari districts – People coming from Mahasamund, Balodabazar, Gariyaband and Dhamtari districts will pass through Ring Road No. 1 toward Sarona Bridge Service Road – Old Amanaka Police Station- Kanger Valley School Road and move toward NCC ground parking. People will park their vehicles at the designated NCC ground parking area and then reach the venue on foot.

Route and parking arrangements for people coming from Durg, Bhilai, and Rajnandgaon – People coming from Durg and Rajnandgaon will move toward the Tatibandh Chowk – GE Road- AIIMS Hospital – Mahoba Bazar Chowk to University Gate. People will park their vehicles at the designated City Bus Depot parking area and then reach the venue on foot.

Route and parking arrangements for people coming from Bilaspur, Bemetara, Kabirdham – People coming from Bilaspur, Bemetara and Kabirdham district will move from Bhanpuri Tiraha to Ring Road No. 2 – Tatibandh Chowk – GE Road -AIIMS Hospital – Mahoba Bazar Chowk to University Gate. People will park their vehicles at the designated City Bus Depot parking area and then reach the venue on foot.

Route and parking arrangements for people from Raipur city- People from Raipur city and district will move toward the Shastri Chowk- Jai Stambh Chowk- Amapara Tiraha – Ashram Tiraha – DDU Naya Marg Tiraha to NIT parking area. People will park their vehicles at the designated NIT parking area and then reach the venue on foot.

Route and parking arrangements for print and electronic media – Vehicles of print media and electronic media will enter from the hostel turning and then park their vehicle in the parking area designated in front of Science College Major Gore Hostel. From there they will reach the venue on foot.

Route arrangements for participants, senior citizens, public representatives, senior officials and emergency vehicles- Raipura Chowk to Thakur Bar – Rohinipuram Gol Chowk – Hostel Chowk Road. The above mention route will be reserved for participants, senior citizens, public representatives and senior officials attending the program and entering the above route will be prohibited for the general public.
